NNRA TRAINS STAFF ON DEVELOPMENT OF NATIONAL BACKGROUND IONIZING RADIATION MEASURING

A 3-day training on the Development of National Background Ionizing Radiation Measuring is currently taking place in the Headquarters, Abuja from 8^th -11^th February, 2021.

The training which is organized by the Department of Radiological Safety aims to train NNRA technical staff on the Authority’s standard procedures and protocols for acquisition and presentation of radiological data in line with globally acceptable standard.

The GM Radiological Safety, Dr. Isa Sambo emphasized the importance of training especially to a specialized organization like NNRA stating that it is one of the three priorities of the organization. He encouraged participants to pay rapt attention to the sessions and make it interactive in order to benefit maximally from it.
