NNRA TRAINS STAFF FOR MORE PRODUCTIVITY

As part of Management’s effort to improve Staff efficiency and performance in the workplace, the Authority organized a two week National Training Course on Basic Professional Training Course (BPTC) for its staff which ended on 4th December, 2020 in Abuja.

The training was primarily oriented towards junior and intermediate nuclear professionals involved in nuclear safety-related activities and specialized professionals who need a broader view of nuclear safety.

The training rounded off with the participants making individual presentations and writing exams to ascertain the level of their understanding.

At the closing ceremony, the DG/CEO Dr. Yau Idris congratulated the participants on having endured the drill throughout the two weeks. Dr. Yau, who was represented by the General Manager Administration and Finance Mr. Mathias Vyonku, reaffirmed Management’s committed to steadily provide training avenues in order to address Staff weaknesses, strengthen their skills and impart sound knowledge. He urged the participants to always take such trainings seriously so as to better themselves, their careers and the Authority’s workforce.

The participants thanked the Management for giving them the opportunity to acquire more skills and knowledge. They said, even though the training was very tasking and demanding, they are grateful because it will enhance their capabilities, enhance job satisfaction and heighten morale towards their work.
