NNRA STAFF ON COMPLIANCE INSPECTION

A two-day compliance inspection at one of the privately licensed personnel dosimetry providers in Nigeria, the Radiation Safety Technology Limited (RSTL) Ikeja, Lagos was carried out by the NNRA between 10^th and 11^th December, 2020.

The compliance inspection is a routine duty to verify the level of compliance with the provision of Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection Act of 1995, and other extant regulations. Routine inspections are also carried out by regulators of the Authority to check the validity of the operators’ license and ensure that the facility, equipment and work performance meet relevant regulatory requirements and standards.

The three-man inspection team from the Radiological Safety Department was led by Mr. Ahmed Danjuma. Other members are Ekeocha Christabel and Fatima Kamfut.
