NNRA PLAYED HOST TO THE VICE CHANCELLOR OF ABUBAKAR TAFAWA BALEWA UNIVERSITY.

The Vice Chancellor of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, (ATBU) Bauchi State, Professor Mohammed Abdulazeez, accompanied by the Registrar, Dr. A. G Hassan paid a courtesy visit to the NNRA on the 8^th November, 2021 at the NNRA Headquarters, Abuja.

The visit aimed at the establishment of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will promote collaboration between both organizations especially in the area of Research and Development including training and mentoring of students by the NNRA. The visiting Vice Chancellor stated that the NNRA is statutorily responsible for the safe regulation of the application nuclear and radioactive sources in the country hence, collaborating with the Authority will be of immense benefit to the University.

NNRA Management applauded the University for this Laudable Initiative and promised to provide the necessary expertise and experience needed to prepare ATBU for the future.

Dr Nasiru-deen Bello, GM Nuclear Safety Physical Security and Safeguards (NSPSS), who represented the DG/CEO Dr. Yau Idris, stated that MOUs will be drafted and exchanged in the nearest future for the benefit of both parties and the Nation at large.
