NNRA LECTURES AT THE NATIONAL DEFENCE COLLEGE

A lecture titled, “Nuclear Security: A Necessity for National Security” was delivered on Wednesday 17th February, 2021 at the National Defense College (NDC) by the DG/CEO of the NNRA.

Mr. Adamu Abdul, Coordinator of the Nuclear Security Center, an arm of NNRA delivered the lecture on behalf of the DG/CEO, Dr. Yau Idris. The lecture outlined issues bothering on the National Security Strategy, Human Reliability Programme, National and International Legal Framework, Protection of Nuclear Materials against Internal and External Threats amongst other topics.

Deputy Commandant, Brigadier General A. E. Edet who represented the Commandant, appreciated the NNRA for their presentation, continuous support and collaboration with the college.

In attendance at the presentation were senior officers of the Military, Police Force and officials from strategic Ministries, Department and Agencies as course participants from within and outside Nigeria. Also in attendance were the Deputy commandant, Provost, Directors and members of the Faculty and Research Fellows from the College as well as some Staff of the NNRA.

A group photograph was taken and plague presented to the NNRA in commemoration of the event.
