NNRA JOINS IN THE QUARTERLY MINISTERIAL MEETING ORGANIZED BY MINISTRY OF PETROLEUM RESOURCES

Dr. Yau Idris, Director-General Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NNRA) attended the 4^th Quaterly Ministerial Meeting organized by his Excellency Minister for State Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Slyva. The meeting held on 23^rd-25^th November, 2020 in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

The meeting serves as an avenue to measure the performance and achievements of all Agencies and Departments under the supervision of Ministry of Petroleum Resources (MPR). At the meeting, Dr. Yau Idirs alongside other Heads of Agencies made detailed presentations on the activities of their respective organizations in a bid to access their alignment with the vision of President Buhammadu Buhari to improve and diversify the petroleum industry in Nigeria.

Chief Timipre Slyva while speaking at the meeting noted that most of the mandates given to the Agencies were achieved within the year. He appreciated Heads of Agencies for their performance and urged them to continue to work diligently and effectively for the betterment of oil and gas sector

The following agencies and departments were in attendance amongst others, Ministry of Petroleum Resources (MPR) Petroleum Trust and Development Fund (PTDF), Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA), Petroleum Equalization Fund (PEF), Nigerian Content Development Monitoring Board (NCDMB)
