NNRA INSTALLS NEW LANDAUER OPTICALLY SIMULATED LUMINESCENCE READER (OSLR) FOR STAFF MONITORING

NNRA completes Installation of a newly acquired Landauer OSLR-50 Model at its Radiological Laboratory at the Headquarter on 26^th July 2023.

The system is a 2020 model used primarily, for monitoring of inspectors; provide national environmental monitoring programmers and monitor first responders in case of a nuclear or radiological emergency. The system could also serve as a stop gap measure in occupational radiation protection in Nigeria.

The General Manager, Radiological safety Department, Dr. Isa Sambo, led the team of officers that installed this equipment.
