NNRA IN COLLABORATION WITH TAGG ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION LTD ORGANIZED TRAINING ON PRODUCTIVITY PROGRAMME FOR YOUNG SCHOOL LEAVERS IN IYANA-IYESI OF ADO-ODO/OTA LGA IN OGUN STATE, NIGERIA FROM 21ST TO 25TH OCTOBER, 2024.

The Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NNRA) in Collaboration with TAGG Engineering and Construction Ltd Organized a 5-day productivity training program for young school leavers in Iyana-Iyesi of Ado-Odo/Ota LGA in Ogun State, Nigeria. The productivity training program aims to equip young school leavers in Iyana-Iyesi of Ado-Odo/Ota LGA in Ogun State, Nigeria, with essential skills and knowledge to enhance their productivity and employability. The program seeks to address the challenges faced by this demographic in accessing relevant training and opportunities for economic empowerment

The objectives of the 5-day productivity training among others are:

  • To provide practical training on key productivity skills such as time management, goal setting, communication skills, and problem-solving.
  • To impart entrepreneurial skills and knowledge to enable participants to start their ventures or pursue self-employment opportunities
  • To foster a mindset shift towards productivity, responsibility, and self-reliance among young school leavers.
  • To facilitate networking opportunities and access to mentorship for participants to enhance their career prospects.
  • To promote collaboration and networking among participants, fostering a supportive ecosystem for ongoing learning and advancement.

Throughout the 5 days productivity training for young school leavers in Iyana-Iyesi of Ado-Odo/Ota LGA in Ogun State, participants were engaged in presentations, hands-on exercises and group projects to apply the concepts learned. Implementing the comprehensive program not only enhances productivity among young school leavers but also prepares them for successful careers and personal growth.
