NNRA CONDUCTS PRE-AUTHORIZATION INSPECTION

In line with the Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority’s (NNRA) mandate of ensuring safe application of ionizing radiation, and protection of life, property and the environment from the harmful effects of ionizing radiation, a team of NNRA Inspectors from Kwara Operational Office carried our compliance inspections on some diagnostic facilities from 10^th to 26^th August, 2021.

The objective of the exercise was to provide a high level of assurance that all activities performed by the operators have been executed safely and that people and the environment are protected from the harmful effects of ionizing radiation.

The inspections were carried out on the following facilities;

1. Kosemani Hospital, Ilorin
2. Cleanix Diagnostic Centre, Ilorin
3. Landmark University Medical Centre, Omu-Aran
