NNRA CONDUCTS CAPACITY BUILDING TRAINING FOR SOUTH WEST ZONAL OFFICE STAFF

The Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NNRA), in collaboration with Halimasalam Nigeria Limited, successfully conducted a two-day Capacity Building Training Programme for staff of its South West Zonal Office from 2–3 July 2026 at the Tax Professionals' House Hall, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State.

The training, themed "Strengthening Regulatory Competence, Inspection Effectiveness, and Service Delivery Reforms," focused on enhancing regulatory competence, inspection effectiveness, regulatory compliance, information management, security awareness, and service delivery.

The programme forms part of NNRA's commitment to continuous professional development and institutional capacity building, aimed at strengthening the Authority's ability to effectively regulate the safe, secure, and peaceful use of nuclear and radiological technologies in Nigeria.

Participants commended the quality of the training and pledged to apply the knowledge gained to improve regulatory performance and service delivery.
