NNRA CO-SPONSORS WOMEN IN NUCLEAR-NIGERIA’S INAUGURAL LAUNCH

The Interim Executive Committee of the Women in Nuclear-Nigeria (WIN-N) paid an appreciation visit to the Director General/CEO of the Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NNRA), Dr Yau U. Idris at his Office in Abuja on 18^th December 2020.  

Speaking on behalf of the Association, the Interim President Barrister Chigoziri Oge Nwakanma thanked the DG for co-sponsoring the inaugural launch of the Association in Nigeria which took place on the 30^th September 2020. She further indicated that the support and vital role played by the NNRA at the occasion contributed immensely to the success of the event and added that the association will continue to partner with the NNRA to promote the Nuclear Industry in Nigeria.

WIN-N is an all women association which focuses on the need to identify and enhance the role of women in the development of Nigeria’s nuclear sector and encourage young girls to develop professional interest in nuclear science, technology and science related fields.
