NNRA CELEBRATES MRS. EYOANWAN BASSEY ON RETIREMENT

Dr Yau Idris, DG/CEO NNRA and other members of his Management Team gathered in honor of one of their own, Mrs. Eyoanwan Bassey, who recently retired from active service at the NNRA headquarters in Abuja on 31st March, 2023. She was until her retirement, the Deputy General Manager of the Department of Planning, Research and Statistics.

In his address, the DG/CEO NNRA noted that the Authority benefitted immensely from the experience and doggedness of Mrs. Bassey as she was known to be a person whose motto is result oriented. He further stated that her presence will surely be missed within the Authority.

Mrs. Bassey in her vote of thanks appreciated God, the DG/CEO and all present for making it in good health to her final day at work. She noted that her experience within the NNRA has helped shape her into who she is today, and reiterated further that all staff should learn to work with their conscience and think of what can be done to add value to the organisation at all times.

A Certificate of Service was presented to her by the DG/CEO to indicate the end of a meritorious service to her fatherland.

As its tradition, Mrs. Bassey was escorted out of the office premises after a group photograph with staff and was bid farewell by the DG/CEO, members of the management team and staff of the NNRA in a very emotional goodbye atmosphere.

As a follow up to the above disengagement ceremony, a retirement party was put together in honor of Mrs. Bassey who is transcending to a greater call to serve humanity as the incoming first lady of Cross River State.

We, the entire staff of NNRA, wish our dear Mrs. Eyoanwan Bassey (Mama Ada) the very best as she steps into her next endeavor.
