NNRA CARRIES OUT COMPLIANCE INSPECTION AT URANIUM EXPLORATION AND MINING SITE

The Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority Inspectors have carried out a compliance inspection at Clarisver Solutions Limited (CSL) on the 25^th – 27^th January, 2021 at Danpan, Taraba State.

This inspection is in line with the NNRA Mandate of ensuring best practices thereby protecting life, health, property and the environment from the harmful effects of ionizing radiation.

The purpose of this inspection was to assess Clarisver Solutions Limited compliance with the requirements of the Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection Act 19 of 1995, Nigerian Transport of Radioactive Sources Regulations 2006 and the Nigerian Radioactive Waste Management Regulations 2006.

The inspection team was led by Mr. Sanusi Attah, Zonal Coordinator of North East Office, Gombe.
