After several days of intensive sessions, participants of the Regional Training Course on the School of Radiation Emergency Management—organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in collaboration with the Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NNRA)—took a well-deserved break for an evening outing to relax and recharge.
This social engagement offered a welcome shift from the classroom setting, allowing delegates from across Africa to explore the local environment and enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere. Beyond sightseeing, the outing created space for informal connections, fostering deeper camaraderie through shared laughter, conversations, and cultural exchange.
It served as a reminder that effective learning and collaboration thrive both within and beyond the training room.
