NNSCC, A SECURITY ORGAN OF NNRA, HOLDS INTRODUCTORY NUCLEAR SECURITY AWARENESS TRAINING FOR NEWLY RECRUITED STAFF

The NNRA, has commenced a two-day Introductory Nuclear Security Awareness Training for newly recruited staff at the Authority’s Headquarters in Abuja.

Declaring the training open, the DG/CEO of the NNRA, Dr. Yau Idris, charged the participants to approach their responsibilities with diligence and make the most of the learning opportunity. He emphasized the importance of paying close attention to every aspect of the course, noting that the knowledge and skills acquired would provide a solid foundation for their roles in strengthening and sustaining nuclear security in Nigeria.

Dr. Idris further encouraged the new staff to remain committed, disciplined, and professional, stressing that nuclear security is a collective responsibility that demands competence, vigilance, and continuous learning.

The training is designed to equip participants with a fundamental understanding of nuclear security principles and reinforce the NNRA’s commitment to building a knowledgeable and capable workforce dedicated to safeguarding Nigeria’s nuclear and radiological assets.
