Adamu Midala Hussaini, fsi
Attended the Executive Intelligence Management Course (EIMC11) at the Institute for Security Studies Abuja in 2018. He obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Radiation and Health Physics (1995) from University of Ibadan and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Physics (1989) from Federal University of Technology, Yola . He has authored five (5) scientific articles in different journals.
Mr. Hussaini began his carrier in the Physics Department of University of Maiduguri as Graduate Assistant in 1992 and rosed to the rank of Lecturer I in 2001, during which he became the Acting Head of Department from 2000 to 2005. He later joined the Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NNRA) as Chief Regulatory Officer in 2008.
Since joining the NNRA, he has served as the Acting Director of National Institute of Radiation Protection and Research (NIRPR) Ibadan, Head of Authorization Division, Zonal Coordinator, North West Zonal Office Katsina. He has attended several courses, seminars and workshops both local and foreign to enhance his capacity as a nuclear regulator.
Mr. Hussaini was the national counterpart of RAF9046 Strengthening Effective Compliance Assurance for the Transport of Radioactive Material, and participated in the IAEA Peer Review Mission for the group Kenya, Nigeria, and Sudan. He was also selected as a member of the IAEA team entrusted with the finalization of the draft guide on inspection of Transport Operation Related to Radioactive Material in Africa.
Mr. Hussaini is a fellow of security institute, fsi and member of the Nigeria Institute of Physics, MNIP.
